The Empty Hours

On the coast near Veracruz, 17-year-old Sebastián has to take over his uncle’s small motel on his own. He rents rooms by the hour to adulterous couples and casual lovers. Among them, a beautiful young woman - Miranda – regularly comes to meet a man who always has her wait. During this off-peak time Sebastián and Miranda gradually get to know each other and let an unsettling complicity set in between them.
