Those who stay

On March 8th, 2007, Isabelle Béal’s body was found in one of the arms of the river Ain. In her car, she left a note: “not strong enough, too much pressure at work”. Through Frank, her partner, the film builds the story of this woman and tells her tragedy. It also recounts the path of a man, a much involved union activist, for whom this challenge made group values explode, has shambled his relationship to work and forces him to rename the stakes of a personal and family reconstruction.
